Library

Since its inception in 1986, one of the greatest priorities for the Hellenic Centre for Photography was to assemble the most complete and up-to-date library on the art of photography in Greece. Today, this library contains more than 5,000 volumes and 12,000 magazines, derived both from Greek and overseas, covering categories that include: photography monographs, photography collections, technical books, theory books and catalogues of events that focus on photography and the visual arts in general. Within the framework of the O.P. “Information Society”, the library has now been catalogued in digital form and this will soon be available on the Hellenic Centre for Photography website
